Friends of the Spokane Centennial Trail
The mission of the Friends of the Centennial Trail is to assist in the maintenance and development of the Spokane Centennial Trail and its adjacent parklands.
The 37 mile Trail begins at the Idaho state line and ends at Nine Mile Falls, Washington. Its path generally follows the contours of the Spokane River, allowing access for many types of outdoor non-motorized recreational activities. It is ADA accessible. Walk, run, skate, bike, or just enjoy the peace and quiet of nature, abundant wildlife, and gentle flow of the river.
Just last year designated a National Recreation Trail by the U.S. Dept. of the Interior, the Centennial Trail is considered not only a community but also a national jewel.
Friends of the Centennial Trail rely solely on contributions from trail lovers and community-minded businesses to continue our mission of maintaining and advocating for the Trail. We receive no supporting funds from government agencies.
Exciting upcoming event! Join us for our third Adventure Auction on March 25, 2011 at Northern Quest Resort & Casino. For information visit our website at www.spokanecentennialtrail.org
