Indian Canyon/Palisades/Rimrock

In the west hills area of Spokane this Conservancy Area and City Park includes waterfalls on Indian Creek, rocky bluffs and great views over Spokane. The trails have been marked and a map made by volunteers and Ben Johnson's Eagle Scout Project Troop 325.
Access to this area is at Greenwood and Basalt or from a turnout on Indian Canyon Road.

James T. Slavin - Conservation Futures Property

 

This conservation Futures property of 628 acres includes wetlands, grasslands with a border of pine and fir forest. There is also an interesting old ranch to visit. There is a five-acre lake, many seasonal ponds, and a wetland-stream corridor running north-south through its center. Directions: Go south on Highway 195 about 8 miles Turn right on Washington Road to intersection with Keeney Road.
